The USCIS recently announced that all K-1 fiance visa petitions must now be filed at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox. This change is effective immediately and failure to send the K-1 petition to the right address may result in the immiediate return of the K-1 petition to the petitioner.
The change in address is meant to streamline the USCIS processing of the fiancee visa. K-1 petitioners who file at the new location will now be able to receive email notification of the immigration agency’s receipt of a petition.
